Our Story...

The Shenandoah Scholarship Organization continues to recognize and reward the positive achievements of young women through college scholarships and provide unique opportunities for each of these young women to succeed with their education and careers. We have been representing the local area for over 30 years.

The Shenandoah Scholarship Organization is excited to announce that Sherry Cain, founder and past Executive Director for the Miss Jeffersn County Scholarship Pageant, a preliminary to the Miss America Pageant will once again serve as Executive Director for the title of Miss Jefferson County and Miss Jefferson County Outstanding Teen Pageant. Dawn Renae Rix, Miss Jefferson County 1996, will serve as Executive Producer for an amazing production.  The Pageant will be held March 5, 2016 at the Wright Denny Elementary school.  Qualifications for contestants are ages 14-17 for the Miss Jefferson County Outstanding Teen must compete in interview, physical fitness, talent and evening gown.  Miss Jefferson County ages 17-26 will compete in interview, swimsuit, talent and evening gown.
